Newburgh Healthcare Trick or Treat 2013

We had a wonderful turnout again this year for our annual “Children’s Hallway Trick or Treat.”  During this community event, the children of our staff and family members of our residents came to the facility to “trick or treat” at our residents rooms, all dressed in costume.

The residents worked all throughout the month of October bagging candy for this event.

Every child was able to trick or treat in the resident rooms and hallways. After trick or treating, hot dogs and chips were served to families in our Activity Room.

This year we were fortunate to have three University of Evansville students assist with this event!

We would like to thank all of the family members and staff who brought their children and grandchildren in to this event. The residents love to have the opportunity to interact with children and seeing them in costume makes the opportunity extra special.

We would also like to thank our staff  and volunteers who assisted with serving food and passing out candy during this event. And the activity department would also like to thank the weekend staff for doing a great job of having our residents ready to pass all of that candy!
