Ugly Sweater Parade

Friday, December 18th, 2020

On Friday December 18th, in honor of National Ugly Sweater Day, our staff held an ugly sweater parade in the halls! The residents and staff all had a chance to vote on their favorite sweater!

After the sweater competition, the Activity Department held a special “Ugly Sweater” themed Bingo!

Residents received Christmas themed prizes in ugly sweater gift bags!

We would like to thank all staff who participated in this event!

On Christmas Day, activity staff handed out reindeer pudding cups to all of our residents,  Christmas cards made by children in the community, and every resident got a Mary Kay gift thanks to community member Jennifer Buroker!  Our veteran residents also received stockings from the Newburgh American Legion!

Stockings full of goodies were provided to our veterans Christmas morning thanks to the Newburgh American Legion.

Each resident received a Mary Kay gift put together by Jennifer Buroker on Christmas morning!

The facility would like to thank the staff and family members who generously adopted a resident and provided gifts, as well as the following community members:
