The Activities Department “themed event” during the month of April was our annual “Spring Party.” This year singer and guitarist Neil Yockey played bluegrass music for our residents as we celebrated the coming of Spring by serving fresh fruits just ripe for the season!
Throughout the month of April our residents worked on various arts & crafts projects which were to be used during the party to create a “Spring Garden” atmosphere in the Dining Room. In one such project, the residents expressed themselves artistically by painting paper plates which were later used to become flowers decorating the walls of our Dining Room. Residents also made “button trees” as an additional art project which were also displayed on the walls for the party.
Each resident who attended was given a spring crown or headband to wear during the event.
With fresh fruit, great music, and a beautiful environment we enjoyed celebrating the coming of Spring with our residents!
NursingWe would like to thank all staff who assisted with this event!
