Resident Christmas Party 2013

While the month of December was exciting with so many members of the community providing music, worship, and one-on-one visitation services for our residents the highlight of the month was once again our annual “Resident Christmas Party.”

Bruce Baker, owner of Newburgh Healthcare, volunteered to be our “Santa Claus” for the party. During our Christmas party each resident is presented with a gift and receives a visit from Santa.  Gifts are anonymously purchased for residents by staff and family members and various community organizations who select resident names from our Angel Tree.

Most all of our residents at the facility attend the Christmas party.  Those who were unable to attend were visited in their rooms and presented with gifts.

Once the presents were passed, residents and family in attendance received refreshments and had a chance to visit with each other and compare their gifts.

The facility would like to thank the staff and family members who generously adopted a resident and provided gifts – once again, we were able to present a gift to each resident at the facility.  Without this support the holidays would not be as meaningful!  We would also like to thank all of the staff who assisted with the party and family members who attended and supported our efforts.
