Highlights of December 2015

Castle Knight Sensations

During the month of December we had many volunteers from the community visiting Newburgh Healthcare to provide Christmas programs for our residents.

Various community organizations provided caroling in the halls, piano recitals, and group performances (including the SWIRCA Kitchen Band, pictured above & below).  Other organizations handed out Christmas gifts and cards when visiting with our residents one-on-one and donated gifts for our annual Christmas party.

Evansville Lutheran School Choir

Newburgh Healthcare would like to voice a special appreciation to Evansville Lutheran School, who have been visiting our facility 10 years this Christmas.  During this annual program, students sing traditional carols to residents and in the second half, students give an orchestral performance which never ceases to impress us.

We would like to thank all members of the community for visiting our residents during the holiday season.  We would also like to thank all of our staff who worked extra hard over the holidays getting residents to Christmas programs, assisting with holiday programs, and for preparing residents for their annual Christmas portraits.  With your help our residents had a very Merry Christmas!
